Today’s announcement comes on the heels of new data from the Home Improvement Research Institute (HIRI), which projects average annual growth rates of 4.2 percent for the consumer market and 4 percent for the professional market through 2028. Similarly, the Leading Indicator of Remodeling Activity (LIRA) forecasts a rise in annual renovation and maintenance expenses, with annual spending expected to increase from $472 billion to $477 billion next year.
