Founder & Managing Partner
As a founding partner of MPG, Marc has spent over thirty years in the consumer goods and retail markets cultivating a broad network of industry leaders and influencers. With his in-depth understanding of the marketplace, Marc has shaped MPG into a highly market-responsive firm serving the needs of companies across the entire market landscape, from large multinational firms to small, entrepreneurial start-ups. Regardless of client size or project scope, the hallmarks of an MPG engagement are client intimacy and an unwavering focus on delivering value.
Beginning his career at Johnson & Johnson (J & J), Marc spent fourteen years learning the consumer goods business from the ground up, first in manufacturing, then in R&D, and ultimately in marketing and brand management. After leaving J&J to found MPG, Marc focused initially on chain retailers, but shortly expanded to include manufacturers, specializing in retail go-to-market strategy and category management. Today’s MPG is a wide-ranging consulting and sales services enterprise with resources capable of serving clients end to end with strategy development and in-market execution. Marc prides himself on building long-term, sustainable engagements with clients. He views MPG as a virtual extension of the client partner’s business where trust and reliability are tantamount.
Marc has a B.A. in History from Rutgers University. He is a native of Pittsburgh and an unabashed Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
